yes. Those bags are amazing. If lining didn't scare me so much, I'd be very tempted.....

Hi Ruth, your purses are beautiful! What a great knitter you are...very inspiring and its great the way you tell about the ups and downs with each project. I like that. I really enjoyed the comment you left me at knitting kat....how encouraging you were. Every now and again I think I hear my knitting needles call me but so far I've turned a deaf ear but maybe soon I'll pick them up again. Sometimes I think I don't have time, but oh boy, do I waste time...its a fact. Hope you have a blessed evening...we have prayer meeting tonight and I'm so glad to be saved and I'm glad you are redeemed too. What a beautiful gift!

They are both so sweet! Perfect linings for them too. How are you going to choose which handbag to use each day? You've made such terrific bags!

They look really great. I love them both.

That stinks about the yarn softening like that. That's kinda what Cascade 220 does, which is great if you need to stretch it or open it, but not great if you liked the way you knit to begin with. I've never not wet blocked something, but I guess that's why you block the swatch ;)
I have a nice iron that will steam block things upright, next time I use a yarn like that, maybe I'll try it.

Ruth, I'm so jealous of your handbags. My first try at a purse had to be thrown out. These are so pretty and the linings are fantastic.
