First of all, a big thank you for all the encouragement and insights regarding my recently knitting discouragement. Many of you hit the nail on the head about the issue of frogging - something I avoided doing with my WIPs, simply because I equated frogging with failure. And who wants to “fail” at a project?! But once again, I’m reminded that I can reuse the yarn into something else. And the potential for a future project can jumpstart inspiration, almost instantly (I am always collecting/hoarding patterns for the future). =)
Now that frogging is an option, the pressure to finish all those WIPs is slowly dwindling down. And I’ve picked up something that I haven’t done in awhile… cooking!! I normally would post this in my other blog, but I figured since this blog is of a crafting nature, I think cooking is a legitimate outlet for creative juices! So I decided to make some homemade Chinese goodness:
Chinese Eggplant:
Oxtail Soup:
Tommorrow will be steamed pork spare ribs in black bean sauce, and a tomato and egg stirfry. AND frogging at least two projects, coming right up! =)

The eggplant looks fantastic!! So glad that you’re more upbeat now. Cooking is great fun and well, it’s good break from knitting too.
Frogging = yarn for more projects
That’s the magical equation!

You are right in that frogging is always an option. If you aren’t feeling the love for the project, you shouldn’t waste your time and energy on it.
