Chinese New Year is coming up, and here is a card for it!

The lion dancers are adorable, I love Sister Stamps! And the characters on the right translate to “gung hay fat choy” (cantonese) or “gong xi fa cai” (mandarin)… which literally means “wishing you prosperity”, in reference to the new year. And the stamp fit perfectly in a Hero Arts text frame!

I colored the images with American Craft Chromatix markers, and added a little something on the inside of the card. A traditional upside down “fu”, which also denotes “good luck arriving”.

Upside down “fu”:

It’ll be the Year of the Snake… which is my year! Woohoo! Happy Chinese New Year!
