Top 5 for 2006

Felicia posted about looking back at 2006 with a couple simple questions, and I thought it would be fun to dwell on them for myself!

    1. How was 2006 for you?

Crazy busy with an extremely full schedule of activities and ministries. Lots of traveling and fun. And finally feeling settled (details here).

    2. What was the highlight of the year?

Hard to say, there are so many: Learned to sew. Taught myself embroidery. Improved on my crochet. Finally conquered socks. Witnessed/helped a handful of my friends get married. Went to China, went to DC, went to North Carolina. Those were the most memorable ones.

    3. What did you want to accomplish that you didn’t get to do?

Had a lot of crafting deadlines/projects that failed or didn’t come through in time. =(

    4. What are you planning for 2007?

Crafting-wise: Hubby is gracious enough to help me with a new but ongoing project… a craft/sewing room (he IS a keeper, isn’t he)!! We have plans of cleaning stuff out, moving new furniture in, and possibly a new sewing machine (also plans of selling my Singer). This room won’t be ready til January, I’m sure. And specific crafting goals - I am hoping to work on patchwork, possibly some quilting, and finishing up my many WIPs.

Next year I will also have the privilege of seeing even more of my friends walk down the altar! Some of them are old friends from high school, some from college, some from post-college and all over. And there are a select few that I get to stand alongside them, with a pretty bouquet and a pretty colored dress, rooting them on with love and support. Can’t wait. So planning-wise, this means more showers to coordinate. =)
