I think it is lovely! I’ve been thinking of this pattern too … got to get the yarn for it!

    Gorgeous! Lucky friend.

That is beautiful. Last night I played around with the feather and fan pattern at SnB. You should bring it to the next meetup to show it off before you send it. I’m considering trying it myself…

Wow, the scarf is sooo pretty! How can you bear to part with it? Your friend will love it.

Hey, do you regularly go to the SnB at the Naked Lounge? I’ve only been once and it was forever ago.

agnes & amy - thanks for the lovely compliments!

marin - doh!!! i just came back from the post office (just mailed it off) and got your message too late =( But if my friend is ever in town, i’ll borrow the scarf to show =)

lynette - i’ve only been to SnB at the Naked Lounge once, a couple weeks back. my evenings aren’t always free, but i’m thinking of going back perhaps next week. are you back from vacation? are you thinking of coming out to SnB eventually? =)

Beautiful scarf!! Where did you get the pattern?

And, tempting did have what felt like billions of ends to weave in. It took me several hours. I’m not going to do stripes for awhile. I also thought it would be cute in a solid color, but I think the stripes help make it.

I’m studying child development - childcare and vocabulary development. It started out being really interesting, but now I’m ready to be done!

I am glad I stumbled upon your site just in time to see this beautiful lace scarf… I especially like the long view down the blocked length. Very nice color choice; your friend in Tulsa is lucky to know you.
