I love it that you have shared your skills with so many people. I started knitting about 20 years ago, and I’ve been so glad to see new people take an interest. It’s so much more fun with friends.

I think some people will get tired of knitting, but for those who truly love it it will never die. However, if it isn’t as popular that means we won’t have as many great patterns/books to choose from anymore. I feel as knitty as I did when I first started…

awww a Baby!! She is a cutiepie and Yes, the dress looks better on her than on a hanger. It’s still a great FO. and I DO remember it. Isn’t it funny how such good times can fade so fast. I can’t remember any details from the first time I met my closest knitting buddy, except that we both wore our Clapotis!

I too, hope that knitting remains on the uptick. Though I’ve taken up spinning and that’s on equal footing with it. Of course! Once I’ve spun myself silly, I’ll have all these yummy yarns to knit up! Who knew!

I never got a photo of the dress I made on the real baby, and I think she’s probably outgrown it by now.. lucky you!
