Today: Turning 28

I celebrated yesterday (because I have a stinkin’ midterm tonight), but I got some early goodies here.

I also wanted to share some sock photos - I’ve started on this sock over a month ago (it’s my first sock!). I haven’t quite finished with it yet, but I’m almost at the point where I do the toes and finish up. But I agree with all who have told me that turning the heel and doing gusset was pretty dang fun! Not as intimidating as I thought it would be!

So with that, I’ll leave you with a few photos of my very first sock-in-progress (the exciting turning heel part):

Have a wonderful and thankful holiday!! =)

Yikes…your’e only 28?! I am blogging in a sea of youngsters. Suddenly I feel ancient…it just dawned on me, I am old enough to be your mother. But really, isn’t it great that we can have a great friendship, never meet personally, and age and other things don’t matter?! YEAH!!!!!!
