Penny Black’s The Manger

Trying to get back into the swing of things. I had a lot of plans for a Christmas card series again this year, and was poised to get started this past September, but a few life events happened and I lost my mojo. I’m trying to get my mojo back.

So here’s a fairly straight forward card. I needed something to watercolor, to relax me. =)

Hot Air Balloon Graduation Card

A fun and light graduation card for my sister. We officially have a shrink in the family! (She’s an MFT) =)

It took a little bit of time to do all the paper piecing, but I am loving the end result. The clouds make it fun too.

Baby Onesies Card

For a friend who is expecting her 3rd very very soon. =)

I opted to clear emboss the clouds instead of white emboss, for a more softer look in the sky.

Baby Waterfall Card

When I first told my husband that I was going to make a waterfall card, he said, “whoa, like you pull on it and water comes out?!?”

This man is actually quite intelligent overall, and yet he thinks I can create a card that pours out water. (To his defense, he later claimed that he meant that you pull a tab and a PICTURE of water will come out…. whatever).

Anyways, this particular card is for dear friends of ours (a fellow knitter and cardmaker too!) who are expecting their miracle baby in a couple of weeks. =)

Watch to see me put it together and how “interactive” this card can be! Even my husband thought it was “pretty cool”. This card was so easy to put together, yet it looks so impressive.
