Pattern Notes
Pattern
A very simple and basic sock yarn pattern. Top down, traditonal heel flap. To change it up, I did one sock with dpn’s, the other with 1 circular needle (magic loop). I was a little baffled at their pattern sizes; because, I am a 8.5 shoe size, according to the pattern I was the ”large” size (other sizes were in “small” and “medium”). I think it would be more accurate to say that I could have done the “medium” size and be okay. To compensate, I did it in a slightly smaller gauge than what the pattern suggested, by using a smaller needle and knitting slightly tighter. It worked out.
Yarn
Very pretty. And wonderful on the hands while knitting. The colorway didn’t produce nice even stripes though, just a tad of pooling here and there. But that’s okay. If you like that effect, then go for it. =)
