Congratulations..
.. to Brian & Lorraine!
It was a really hot day (outdoor afternoon wedding), but a joyous occasion. With all the weddings we’ve been to, I sometimes wonder if the “magic” of weddings have wore off on me. But even when I am helping out behind the scenes, I can still find pockets and moments of time during the day where I see private moments between the bride and groom, and I am filled with joy and wonder at how God brings such love to two individuals. And although I was running around helping with the coordination, I DID find private moments in observing Brian and Lorraine, where my heart swelled with pride and love for what they are experiencing on such a special day as this. I know, because each time I witness moments like that, it brings me back to my own special day, and the moments Wayne and I have.
It’s delicious, beautiful, wonderous, and timeless. And even a frantic wedding coordinator like me can find magic moments here and there, to enjoy and rejoice with the bride and the groom.
Congratulations, Brian & Lorraine!

[...] I had a busy weekend, so of course I couldn’t resist casting on for something soothing and relaxing afterwards. I’m using Karabella Aurora 8 (yummy!). Can you guess what it is? (It’s not hard to figure out - nearly half of you have probably knit this up already) =) [...]
