Washington DC

We’ve been out and about again. This was my first time on the east coast (yep, most of my life has only been on the west coast + occasional visits to Asia). I have NEVER seen the Atlantic Ocean. So I knew this was going to be fun. The only drawback was, we didn’t have enough time to see all the sights!

In six short days, we were able to hit up all the memorials, the White House, Capitol Building, Arlington Cemetary, a good handful of Smithsonian museums, and visit a few neighborhoods. I have a renewed respect for our country and the history behind it (I also realized that I had forgotten alot of my US History from high school). I was also somberly reminded of all those who suffered/sacrificed their lives for this country.
